Pete Eising became a food photographer through his love of cooking.
After graduating from the Munich Academy of Photo-Design he worked with Studio Teubner and other leading commercial photographers. In 1979, together with his wife, Pete started his own photo studio, Studio Eising.
During the same year, he founded the food photography agency StockFood. Today StockFood covers the world through wholly owned subsidiaries in the UK and the US and a network of partner-agencies in more than 70 countries.
In 2010, Pete founded CulinartMedia in the US, followed by CulinartMedia, Germany.
Today's specialized media group of companies is the direct result of Pete's boundless energy and enthusiasm for food photography.

Peter Dombrowski has a remarkable blend of international, entrepreneurial and publishing experience.
Peter has over 20 years of publishing experience, including co-founder and President of Silverback Books, General Manager of Bristol Publishing, and Senior Vice President of Affinity Communications Corporation, one of the largest West Coast book packagers, known for creating books for Seagram's, Office Depot, Toys R Us, Playskool and others.
Prior to entering the publishing world, Peter held a number of overseas positions including: PDG (Chairman of the Board and President) of DAGBAR,S.A., the French subsidiary of Lawry's Foods; Managing Director of Lawry's Foods, Europe and Assistant Vice President of Marketing for the consumer products group of W.R. Grace & Co. headquartered in Paris.
Peter holds a graduate degree from the American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird) and a bachelor´s degree in Economics from San Francisco State University.
